Of the ninety gracing the Cathedral, fifty new windows were designed by the Beyer Studio of Philadelphia to compliment the style and quality of those created by Paula Balano in the 1920s. The Beyer Studio became intimately knowledgeable of Balono’s work while they first restored those windows acquired from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The new windows are made of the same quality of hand-blown glass, supplied from a German company, Lamberts and are held together by lead in the traditional way.
